About
Pronouns: They/Them
I'm a half artist-half raftguide living in the Appalachia's. Eventually there will be a fight to see which one is dominant; but that's future me problem.
In the meantime I will continue to draw and show my appreciation for nature by naming my art pieces with silly puns.
Specific questions I've been asked enough to warrant a little FAQ section
What's with the name GrittyGritter? Back in my day when internet safety was really really enforcing the idea to little kids to not use their real names as usernames lest nefarious internet strangers find your address and other information for sinister purposes. Anyways, I'm an "adult" now who can do whatever they want but seeing my actual name as my username seems weird so I went with GrittyGritter instead.
Okay, but does GrittyGritter mean? Short version: funny glitch online let to combining "Grizzly Bear" plus "Otter" to equal "Gritter" which I used on a whim. Long Version: Well for those of you who use google docs you may notice that sometimes people's icons will show up as a animal. I was helping someone with some writing and we noticed that I had glitched and was shown as a Grizzly Bear on one browser and a Otter on the other. We thought it was funny and combined Grizzly Bear to "Grizzly Otter" which was shortened to "Gritter." (The other options was a Grotter which sounds way worse).  I later added "Gritty" just because, also alliteration. Once I decided to start selling art I chose to use GrittyGritter on a whim.
